Eligibility

The Office of the City Solicitor determines your eligibility for the program, but here are a few common criteria:

• You must have a valid license or form of identification
• Your citation must be a qualifying violation such as running a stop sign, expired tag registration, speeding less than 34 MPH over the speed limit, or improper lane change, to name a few

There are many advantages to participating in the program. Your charges will be DISMISSED, you WILL NOT pay fines or surcharges, you will avoid points on your license, and you will only pay a participation fee that is generally less than the initial fine amount. Furthermore, you are given time to complete the program requirements (including paying your participation fee), as opposed to traditional mandated court fines and surcharges, that if unmet may result in additional fees; unsuccessful participants are returned to the court for prosecution.
